Jeff Lumsden's Liquid Scales
Liquid Scales is the latest acrylic medium formulated and blended by Jeff Lumsden to replicate the natural colors and brilliance found specifically in fish scales with an amazing and consistent ease of application! Liquid Scales are best applied before any sealers or glosses have been used. They have a smooth creamy consistency yet fluid enough to load a fine artists brush easily, and can also flow through an airbrush! They can be thinned down with water to any consistency for a lighter reflective effect or base layer. Whether for taxidermy or reproduction mounts, Liquid Scales offer the fish artist a wide variety of applications and easy to use natural shimmering colors and shades. Starting with a very solid bright silver, four shades of lustrous golds, all six radiant pearl colors and concluding with a beautiful silvery white pearl.
