Paasche VL Needle is used to obtain a small spray pattern. For replacing worn or damaged parts or for converting from one size to another. To convert a VL-3 (medium spray pattern) to a VL-1 (small spray pattern) you must purchase a size 1 needle, tip and aircap. The size of the needle, tip and aircap you choose should be the same.
