Instructions for Polytranspar™ Epoxy Adhesive

When you need the maximum holding power of any hide paste available at any price, then look no further than Polytranspar™ Epoxy Adhesive. This extremely powerful two-part adhesive for the taxidermy industry was developed for gluing skin very tightly around antler burrs, earliners to ear skin, open-mouth work, reptile mounting, and any problem areas where ordinary hide pastes won't hold. This adhesive allows ample working time (20 minutes) before permanently hardening. Its slow set time allows a super-strong bonding with damp skin, unmatched by any other product.

To use, the artist simply mixes equal amounts of Part A and Part B with a tongue depressor on a paper plate or piece of cardboard. This is not an air-dry adhesive, once it sets up, the bond is permanent.

Using a latex gloved finger, spread the adhesive all over the dried mache of the antler plate. Be sure to get the epoxy up under the antler burr.

It's also excellent for open mouth mounts. The 30 minute working time is great for precise work.
