Reproduction Elephant Head - Assembly and Hanging Instructions

 

How to hang and assemble the McKenzie reproduction elephant heads (Except RELP4).

  1. Mount the hanger on the wall using lag screws. Make sure the screws are anchored into a stud. (Drywall is not strong enough).

  2. First hang the head and shoulders on the wall.

  3. Attach the trunk using the thumb screws provided. Reach in through the tusk holes to access the screws.

  4. Insert tusks into the tusk holes and position. If needed the tusks can be secured with a drywall screw on the back side where it can’t be seen.

  5. Attach the ears.


How to hang and assemble the McKenzie reproduction elephant head RELP4.

  1. Mount the hanger on the wall using lag screws. Make sure the screws are anchored into a stud. (Drywall is not strong enough).

  2. Hang the head and shoulders on the wall.

  3. Insert the left tusk (elephant’s left) and tighten the thumb screws on the metal sleeve.

  4. Position the trunk and attach it with the thumb screws provided. Make sure the end of the trunk slides over the left tusk properly. Access the thumb screws through the right tusk hole.

  5. Insert right tusk into the hole and position. Secure it in place with a drywall screw from the back side if needed.

  6. Attach the ears.
