Polytranspar Fungicidal Sealer inhibits growth of mildew and bacteria while priming the surface of skin mounts to readily accept paint. Use on fish mounts, bird bills and legs, and bare mammal skin. Polytranspar Lacquer Based Sealer is available in both clear and white and is the perfect preparatory step for wood carvings which will be painted. The clear sealer is a colorless sanding sealer that will produce a satin sheen gloss, while the white sealer produces an even more opaque surface to receive paint. Polytranspar thinner may be used for clean-up purposes as well as reducing or thinning Polytranspar Lacquer Based Paints. With time, some of the solvents will evaporate, requiring the paint to be re-thinned occasionally. Polytranspar Retarder is added to slow down the drying time of airbrush paints. This is especially helpful to prevent paint from drying on the tip of the airbrush. Polytranspar alcohols, acetone and clean-up thinner all provide a suitable means of cleaning up after any task.
