Finishing Deodorizer is used for deodorizing finished mounts, rugs or skins that retain a musk or glandular smell. Works on Bear, Antelope, Fox, Coyote, Skunks, Domestic Sheep, and Goats. Does not contain water, which would soften or ruin an old mount. Will also clean and degrease. Can also be used in the fur drum. For deodorizing skins that are still in the untanned or tanned condition, which can be soaked in a water solution, our regular deodorizer is recommended.
Directions:
Dampen a soft rag with Finishing Deodorizer and rub briskly into the hair, then groom.
For extremely bad odors, which may be coming from the skin, the mount may have to be saturated until the skin is penetrated. Any excess will evaporate.
Finishing Deodorizer can also be added to the fur drum to deodorize skins. Add several ounces or more if needed to sawdust before drumming.
